First Step

A few days ago, I realized that I have constantly kept thinking about changing myself without taking any concrete steps to do so. I have decided that from this day onward, I will take control of my life and do my best to change myself and to pursue my dreams.

To bring about a change in myself, the first step is to bring a change in my lifestyle, in which routine is non-existent. I have thought about an ideal routine towards which I want to work.

05:00 am: Wake up. Exercise for an hour or so. Bathe.
06:30 am: Sit down to write.
08:40 am: Have breakfast and get ready for work
09:00 am: Start work
06:00 pm: Finish work
06:30 pm: Go for a walk/ tend to garden/ daily chores like shopping
08:00 pm: Stark cooking or help with cooking/household chores
09:00 pm: Dinner
09:30 pm: Watch a movie or read a book or write. Watch a movie with the family on every alternate day, write or read on other days
11:00 pm: Go to sleep

It will be impossible to make a straight jump from my current lifestyle to the ideal routine I have in mind. So let me make changes one at a time.

07:00 am: Wake up. Exercise for half an hour at least. Bathe
08:00 am: Read the newspaper. Write
08:30 am: Have breakfast and get ready for work
09:00 am: Start work

I want to follow this routine for at least a week before I review it and make a change.
